A Sticker Book

“Letters to a Young Poet” is a collection of ten letters written between a young poet and Rilke, his senior. I was tasked with choosing a collection of something to bring these insightful letters into one coherent book, and for that settled on stickers. Sticker culture is experienced far and wide through the art of tagging street poles, decorating laptops, within fashion, and even bringing community together. I aimed to capture the essence and meaning of the art by corresponding type from the Poet’s Letters to these sticky showcases of identity. Following the common theme of self expression and human connection, I made “Letters to a Young Poet” into a sticker book.
